課程目標 |
The goal of this course is to expose students to the research frontier in the fields of theoretical and applied Econometrics. Students are expected to actively participate in the presentations and give critical comments. |

課程要求 |
1.Course participation (30%)
You are required to attend our scheduled seminars on Thursday afternoons in this semester (there will be attendance check), even for virtual ones. If you have family or medical emergencies, please provide us with a proof afterwards and your absence will be tolerated. Any unexcused absence will lead to reduction of your participation score.
2.Written reviews and critical comments (70%)
You need to choose one presented paper (which can be from our invited seminars, AEW seminars, or CRETA seminars) to write down a report with your critical comments. Your report should first summarize the paper using your own words and then provide questions and comments for the author to potentially improve the paper. Your report should be at least two pages long and please be careful not to commit plagiarism. All reports will be finally shared to the whole class via NTU Cool. |
